Meet Casper.

Casper is a completely blind rooster who has overcome more than most could imagine. When he arrived at TCR, he had been scalped and was suffering from a severe gangrene infection covering his head. His injuries were heartbreaking, but with time, medical care, and lots of love, his head wound eventually healed.

Casper also has a permanently disabled right foot, but that doesn’t stop him from living his life.

Today, Casper is safe at TCR, surrounded by people who see beyond his disabilities and recognize the brave, loving soul underneath.

He may not be able to see the world, but he knows what it feels like to be loved.
