Our GoFundMe campaign is helping Trooper’s Chicken Rescue build Hawaiʻi’s first dedicated chicken rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary to meet a critical and urgent need across the islands. Every day, thousands of abandoned, injured, neglected, and cockfighting-surviving chickens are left without a safe place to go, often resulting in continued suffering or euthanasia. As a volunteer-driven organization, we currently respond using our own vehicles, supplies, homes, and personal funds, but the scale of the crisis far exceeds what a small rescue network can manage alone. With your support, this campaign will help fund land acquisition, secure housing, medical and recovery space, expanded rescue transport capacity, and a permanent humane solution for Hawaiʻi’s chickens. This sanctuary will provide safety, rehabilitation, and long-term care while also serving as a center for education, compassion, and awareness about responsible animal care and the cruelty tied to cockfighting.
