Upon arriving home, TCR’s Grant Manager, Gabby, heard urgent cries from next door and saw that her neighbor’s dog was attacking Pepper on the lawn. She immediately intervened, retrieving Pepper from the dog and ensuring she was brought to safety.

Pepper was frightened and injured from the encounter, but thankfully she is now receiving the care she needs. After bringing her home, Gabby gave her a gentle bath, cleaned her up, and made sure she had a safe, quiet place to rest. She is currently being treated with lots of love, attention, and care as she recovers from her ordeal.

Stories like Pepper’s remind us how important it is to step in when animals are in danger. A few moments of quick action can make all the difference. With some time, patience, and care, we are hopeful that Pepper will make a full recovery and be able to enjoy a safe and happy life.
